Orlando, FL - July 8, 2015 -  The South All-Stars defeated the North squad by a score of 7-1 Tuesday night at Historic Sanford Memorial Stadium. Matt Anderson of the Altamonte Springs Boom was named the All-Star Game MVP. Read more here...

Week 9 Recap & Players of the Week

Orlando, FL - August 3, 2015 - The Sanford River Rats went 3-1 on the week and will be the #1 seed in the playoffs. They were helped in large part by Player of the Week Jacob Wright (Pittsburgh), who hit safely in every game. Cameron Hanes (Florida Southern) of Winter Park is your Pitcher of the Week after extending his scorless innings streak to 31.  Read more here...

League Welcomes Korean National Team & Sunbelt League 

Orlando, FL - July 16, 2015 - Six days of exhibition baseball begins on Thursday in Sanford as the Florida League welcome the Korean University Baseball Federation to Central Florida for a five game series. The top prospects of the Sunbelt League will also challenge the top players from the Florida League on Sunday.  Read more here...

The Florida Collegiate Summer League (Florida League) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that operates six teams in Central Florida. Founded in November, 2003, the Florida League provides a place in the Sunshine State for top college players to play pure wood bat baseball against top-level competition in a festive community atmosphere. The Florida League is one of ten leagues supported and partially funded by Major League Baseball and is one of ten leagues affiliated with the NACSB - an alliance of college summer wooden bat leagues that follow NCAA rules. The Florida League has been named one of the top leagues in the country by Baseball America.
