Community Nights Program

Because the Florida Collegiate Summer League could not have made it this far without the help of so many people, the league is partnering up with others (local businesses, church groups and youth sport programs) in June and July to host Community Nights at ballparks in College Park, Orlando, Sanford, DeLand and Winter Park.

Teams in those areas will be offering fundraising groups the opportunity to share gate receipts and in-game raffle revenue while enabling them the chance to spread the message about their mission and/or cause at display booths inside the stadiums.

During these special nights the Florida League and its baseball fans will be playing a big role in helping each group reach their goals in the process. Hosting a Community Night also provides a way for leaders of those groups to give recognition to its members before and after games through avenues such as the singing of the National Anthem, throwing out the first pitch, announcing “Play Ball” to the home crowd and having kids run bases afterwards.
