Have you ever thought about how to get your child to the next level in their baseball career? The DeLand Suns will offer this once in a lifetime opportunity for your children to receive top notch instruction in hitting, pitching, fielding, and base running for baseball players ages 7 to 14. The DeLand Suns are part of the Florida Collegiate Summer League, which is currently ranked third in the nation among college summer league baseball. College summer league baseball is where the top collegiate baseball players play during the summer in order to gain more experience or get closer to accomplishing the dream of reaching the top level of professional baseball.

 

Sessions will take place on Wednesday, June 29^th, Thursday, July 7^th, Wednesday July 20^th, and Wednesday July 27^th. All sessions will focus on hitting, pitching, fielding, and base running instructions beginning at 4:00 P.M. lasting until 6:00 P.M.  During the instruction sessions your child will learn basics, strategy, discipline, and much more. All players will be placed in different groups upon arrival and rotate to different areas with top-tier instructors in that particular skill.   The sessions will be held at: Melching Field at Conrad Park, 555 S. Woodland Blvd., DeLand, Florida.

 

Pricing for the camp will be $30 for each instructional session or $100 for all four sessions. Each session will include: free attendance to that night’s DeLand Suns home game for the player, an opportunity to run the bases during the game, and a DeLand Suns team signed baseball. If you purchase all four sessions the player will receive a DeLand Suns T-Shirt, Hat, and all that is included in the individual package as well!
