Bio

Stefano is a native of Evanston, IL, where he lettered in baseball and basketball in high school. He played baseball at Rollins College from 2002-2008, where he converted from shortstop to first base after an arm injury that sidelined him for his first two seasons. He was a team captain for 3 years and won several awards including Conference Player of the Week and a South Region Gold Glove. He was part of the Tars team that went to the 2004 D-II World Series. While at Rollins, he earned his bachelor's degree in computer science and his master's in business administration. He started with the Florida League as a league operations intern in 2007. Since 2007 he has served as a Team General Manager, Business Operations, Vice-President and has been the league's President since 2018. In 2019 Stefano was elected to serve as the Executive Director of the National Alliance of College Summer Baseball, a position he still holds today. He resides in Winter Park with his wife, Amber and their sons, Matteo and Landon who unsurprisingly play a lot of baseball. Stefano is a fan of the Cubs, Bears, Bulls and Orlando City.
